Pile Points

OF COURSE YOU DONT NEED PILE POINTS!

In addition to pile points, pile splicers will extend H-Pile, Pipe and Prestressed Concrete Piles to increasingly longer lengths. Both can speed pile installation, aid in giving excellent structural support, as well as helping to reduce costly construction time.

For the most part, accessories for piles are easy to attach. Specifications normally require that welders be certified, however, full certification for all position welding may not be essential. As a result, a capable laborer on a pile crew may install certain points and/or splices.

With increasing heavier loading on pile structures installed in difficult soils combined with the specifying of longer pile lengths the use of protective points and splice accessories are not only cost effective but may also be necessary to insure a properly designed and built pile foundation.
